All the flexibility of CNC with the
production of simultaneous operation associated with a cam
automatic. The multi-slide configuration system is similar
to a cam automatic or automatic capstan with even the
tooling being interchangeable.
Full control to all
8 axes is achieved with linear scales on the
cross slides and a rotary encoder on the turret axis. This
gives closed loop position control from the program for all
five slides and the turret.

Siemens 840D control.
